Company Name

The new Above The Stag Theatre presents the return of its sellout success Fanny and Stella, The Shocking True Story, which had audiences and critics alike rolling in the aisles on its first outing in 2015. It tells the amazing true story of Ernest Boulton and Frederick Park, two young transvestites in Victorian London who dared to take on the establishment when charged with attempted sodomy in 1870. Based on original trial transcripts and the newspaper reports of the day, Fanny and Stella has a book and lyrics by the award-winning creator of Taggart, Glenn Chandler, and a fabulous musical score by Charles Miller. It also brings together once again the combined talents of director Steven Dexter and choreographer Carole Todd. This is one revival not to be missed!
